Zoom AD-15F UK PSU
Mark3012 27.09.2014
Bought this PSU for my Zoom B1Xon, though it is suitable for many of Zoom's products. I was using the B1Xon with batteries, so I wanted to upgrade to a power supply. I used a generic Boss-type PSU, but this seemed to introduce large quantities of hum, buzz and other noise into the system so I bought this hoping to eradicate these problems and I'm happy to say it works very well, i.e. relatively silently, but not as silently as using batteries for some reason. Good for live work but in the studio I'd use batteries, so it's not a big deal. Not expensive and saves on battery costs, at least for gigging.

Safe Alternative?

The problem with replacing or buying & adapter for a pedal is weather its going to power or it or void a warranty. I had this power source suggested by Thomaan for a Source Audio Pedal, which its worked without fault, no hum or noise. If in doubt ask these people or just match the sequence of plus and minus symbols on plug and pedal, and match the voltage i.e 9volt for your boss or simple switch pedal. And the plug is well made.

Does what it says on the tin
Anonymous 15.12.2014
Bought this to use with a Zoom MS60-B. What can you say? It plugs into a mains socket and gives 9V at the other end at a plug which conveniently fits into the MS60-B (or, indeed, a Zoom B3 or G3). One minor point - the lead exits at the top rather than the bottom, so if you've got a mains extension board with two rows of sockets facing each other, this will effectively take up two sockets.
