Great 2 channel Linux compatible audio interface
LinuxSound, 27.03.2018
I wanted a Linux audio interface and after much searching thought that this may do the job so I bought it and hoped for the best.

I plugged it into the latest Linux mint and switched it to "compatible mode" and hey presto the box worked, nice, great sound and worked up to I believe 96kbps. Super.

Now I use it with Ubuntu Studio and I've also tried it with Gallium OS and had no problems.

I think that finally there is a product that appears to JUST WORK with Linux and for me that is what really matters.

As for the device itself it is a solid little box, reasonably well built, with nice, if a bit small controls, but entirely appropriate for the device and I'm even thinking of making it portable for recording applications.

I would certainly recommend it and I cannot really fault it so I'm happy.

too goode to be true ?
aksuu, 05.01.2018
because of the usb3 the asio drivers are very fast and enable very low latensy (1-3 ms) The problem with this though is that you have to put it on and off which is useless feature since it could power on an off acording to computer and not by itself. Biggest problem how ever is the feedback issue and sound drop. feedback issue occur when I open a project in FL studio and have something other playing via media player at the same time. Some times the whole box glithes and the feedback sound don't stop until I restart my computer. Other issues is the sound drop that occur randomly and I loose all sound from the computer and have to re start the box to get the sound back on. I read few reviews before bying this so not sure are these problems computer basis or what sinse not everybody had negative experience with this. Other than these problems the knobs and handling overall is very good and there is no complaining about it.

I needed a new interface for my home setup with Logic X and chose this because of the ability to connect with ipad.
I really like the build of the Zoom and everything works great - preamps are fine and it?s super easy to use. The only thing I am disappointed with is that I need an additional power supply if I?ll connect it with the ipad as well as the connection kit. It would have been helpful if Thomann had suggested I?d buy the supply.
Everything else is great!

Works like a charm!
Obleey, 15.12.2017
Bought this one since my focusrite saffire pro 24 gave up on me. Was very sceptical of the us port. no more. Latency free tracking all the way! Preamps are great, also works really really good. Im suprised on this product since i was looking for a good soundcard in this price range. Definetly go for it. It also looks sleek and you can fit it in any pocket whatsoever. Zoom, you did a excellent job!
