Compared to Manfrotto super clamp, grip is bad on flat surfaces

I got Manfrotto 035, its top notch and nobody can touch it, I got this Adam Hall Super Clamp MK2 Auto-Lock spending more money than Manfrotto just to get that Ratchet handle to clamp it in tight spaces, its grip on flat surfaces is not as good as compared to Super Clamp 035, even I feel the handle to tighten the clamp feels flimsy, given a chance I will return this item.
