Good performance, poor longevity

I was very happy with the sound that this ligature enabled but unfortunately, after 2 years, the tension screw has worn to the extent that the ligature is now useless. the thread in the middle part of the screw has worn, lost its plating and become thin. The ferrule on the ligature through which the screw is fitted also shows signs of wear. I will not replace this and will use another brand

The BG LD 1 Ligature is a one-of-a-kind ligature that fits both clarinet and alto saxophone mouthpieces. Provides focused tone and stable intonation in all registers. Je cherchais une ligature avec une réponse rapide et un son brillant dans la continuité de mon bec Jumbo Java. Et bien cela y correspond parfaitement.
Je me questionne un peu sur l'intensité à laquelle il faut serrer la vis car je trouve la sensation par forcément naturelle quand on serre (due aux appuis en caoutchouc qui se serrent par à-coups), mais je vais m'y faire.
