Easy to carry.We can save and load preset files in Mixer software,really good.But it's a shame about we can't use phantom power at 4 input simultaneously . Even of that I am also satisfy .

I bough EVO 8 interface mainly due to it's SMART GAIN feature. This BTW works great and saves lot of time when you work as one man band and songwriter layering your tracks one by one using different instruments and mics.

Tons of features for not so much money!! 6 STARS for that.!!!
The 2 outs and 2 headphones are great feature. Simple button layout. Great design!

Audio quality??? Best of what I have so far. Guitars direct input - fantastic sound. Mics great too - and no more clipping thanks to SMART GAIN. Enough to say the first test recording I've made was so good that I keep listen it over and over again with big smile.

Don't be afraid of plastic enclosure - when you place EVO on your desk you quickly stop looking at it and start making music.

This is real bargain. Better than I expected. Thanks THOMANN. Thanks Audient.

Bin sehr zufrieden

Die EVO benutze ich für Streaming und Recording. Ich wollte 4 Eingänge (2MICS + Stereoquelle), geringe Maße, und gute Wandler und Preamps.

Klang:
Für den Preis denke ich ist die EVO8 eine sehr gute Mittelklasse Soundkarte die zumindest in meinen Ohren einen fantastischen Job macht. Ich übertrage und recorde auf Grund der Aufnahmesituation nur mit dynamischen Mikes, das erspart Stress. Die EVO kommt mit dem Sennheiser e935 gut zurecht und es klingt nicht wesentlich schlechter als mit einem Kondensor, dafür ohne Nebengeräusche und gut steuerbar. E-Gitarre direkt in die Karte klingt fetter, reicher, offener und nicht so steril wie ich es von anderen Soundkarten gewohnt war und das sehr rauscharm. Für mich Note 1.

Bedienung:
Einfacher geht es nicht. Ein kontextabhängiger Regler für alles.
Der Softwaremischer ist simpel. Zwei verschiedene Mixes und Loopback (streaming )sind möglich.

Verarbeitung:
Obwohl das Gerät aus Kunstoff ist, wirkt es edel und modern.
Ich mag es so schlicht wie möglich und die EVO wirkt auf dem Desktop edel und unauffällig, nimmt kaum platz weg. Die in/out Buchsen sitzen stabil im Gehäuse, die Buttons haben einen schönen Druckpunkt, der Drehregler liegt gut in der Hand und ist nicht negativ aufgefallen.

Fazit:
Die EVO8 ist ein gelungenes Produkt.
- sehr guter Klang
- sehr geringe Latenz
- geringe Maße
- einfache Bedienbarkeit
- schlichtes und edles Design

Einziger Kritikpunkt:
Die Mute funktion ist super, nur sieht man das pumpende LED schwer bei Tageslicht. Für abgedunkelte Recordingräume super da nicht blendend, für Streamer die im Licht sitzen ist nicht leicht erkennbar ob gemutet ist oder nicht. Hier wäre mir eine rote LED lieber gewesen als das pumpende Licht.

BONUS: Ich habe einer RAZER Laptop mit Thunderbolt und beim ersten Test ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen, dass ich anstelle des mitgelieferten USB Kabels ein Thunderbolt3 Kabel verwendet habe, trotzdem funktioniert alles anstandslos. Das ist trotz der gewissen Kompatibilität von USB-C und THunderbolt3 keine Selbstverständlichkeit.

Polyvalent mais attention à l'utilisation

Une très belle carte son, emballage soigné et épuré, on sent un produit de qualité! 4 entrées XLR/Jack et une entrée instrument. Possible de gérer la table entièrement depuis le logiciel, et délai très faible sur un DAW (jtuilise FL studio), jusqu'à 1ms, 5ms en pratique. Parfait pour enregistrer des voix sur un daw (y compris avec effets, reverb, autotune etc...) avec moins de 10ms de latence, ce qui est peu perceptible.
Seul problème, c'est un produit très mainstream, prévoir un préampli casque si vous utilisez un casque 250 ohm ou plus, sinon vous allez avoir trop peu de gain et des pertes sur certains pics. Par ailleurs, le préampli micro est faible, donc fonctionne avec la plupart des micros, mais prévoir un préampli micro supplémentaire si vous avez un micro a faible signal (type SM7B).
Un excellent produit !
