As another reviewer also mentioned: This guitar is - in my view - not ready to rock straight out of the box. The saddles were not set to the correct radius and some saddle screws rattled as a result of this. The tremolo arm also had some play in its fitting, but after plugging it in I was soon dissuaded from returning the guitar; the neck feels great, the pickups sound good, I like the way the guitar hangs on its strap and the coil-split adds useful sounds that I can see myself using in a band context.
After playing and hearing the guitar I decided to spend some time setting the guitar up properly (instead of returning it) and all the buzzes and rattles are now gone! Would I recommend this guitar to other buyers? Yes, the bare bones are really good but -unlike the US-made Fenders - this one needs a bit of TLC to get it going. Once set up properly, this is a wonderful guitar with a thick, fat yet clear sound that still has some of that 'jangliness' that Jazzmasters are known for.
UPDATE 02-02-2020: I cannot get over how good this guitar sounds! Get one now before Fender realise they're letting them go too cheap!

MR
Awesome Guitar, Terrible Assembly
Mário Renato Teixeira 15.08.2018
The guitar is indeed awesome, the pickups have a sound that is very strong but clean.
The body is just perfect, the tuning keys are a real upgrade from what i previously had.
The bad side is this guitar was bad assembled, new guitars need a setup always when they come, but my guitar needs a strong setup, its just buzzing all over, and it has a hum, and i took it to a luthier and he says the internals are ok, maybe the pickup is not good isolated, lets see but from what was my experience, the guitar IS NOT READY TO ROCK out of the box, thats a sure thing!
If the hum is not resolve i will return the guitar of course.
