Mainstay drive sits perfect in the mix

Bought this pedal out of interest after seeing Nashville session players demoing on YouTube. I've had various ODR style over the years and never fully bonded with them from the Browne Amps Protein to the Nobles mini. The Keeley Noble Screamer has bested them. Feels amazing under the fingers and reactive to playing dynamics and guitar volume controls.
I mainly use this drive in the ODR-1 mode never been a huge fan of Tube Screamers however it is nice to have the option. Nice having the switches to move between gain stack and tone stack of both circuits, and being able to mix and match as the players needs may vary.
The noble screamer stacks really lovely into other drives as well as after other drives. In the mix it sits perfectly not over bearing or muddied. But will give you the sound heard on countless recordings it's my favorite all round drive to add a little hair to a blues sound or go all out 80s squealing solos.
Build quality is amazing, Keeley doesn't disappoint. Switch is sturdy and the enclosure is bullet proof, perfect for heavy gigging and bound to last on touring boards. The three knobs are sturdy with an even taper.
The Noble Screamer has the added bonus of giving you the classic ODR-1 sound without the eye watering prices that the originals demand nowadays.
Perfect for touring musicians or bedroom players.
Would highly recommend this pedal as it is the sound heard on countless recordings and the playability and reaction to the guitars volume knob and players playing dynamics is unmatched by many other pedals.

No tengo mucho que decir, un grandísimo pedal en todos los sentidos, yo personalmente nunca me gustó el sonido ts. Tengo varios ts, ibanez, kaslader tóxico twis, y otros que después de probarlos y combinarlos de mil maneras no se le acerca al keley ni de sombra en sonido, y además es un pedal con varios setting y todos perfecto para mis GUSTOS tos, tengo 54 pedales y para mí es el mejor en overdray con sonido tube scrimer, o con sonido ODR 1 o combinados, los sonidos ts para mi y su búsqueda perfecta ya a terminado, con este gran pedal. Ahora no sé qué hacer con los otros ts.

Versátil y cálido

Una fantástica forma de tener un Nobles y un Tube Screamer en un pedal. El poder combinar la parte de EQ y tipo de clipping de ambos pedales da mucho juego. Excelente calidad de sonido. Muy cálido y con un nivel de ruido mínimo.

Klasse Boost/Drive

Es gibt so viele TS-Style Pedale und mittlerweile auch einige Versionen vom ODR-1. Dieses Pedal versuch beide Stile zusammen zu bringen. Normalerweise geht so was schief, aber nicht wenn Robert Keeley das angeht!
Das Pedal macht alles was man vom jeweiligen Drive erwartet, hat aber nicht deren Nachteile. Im TS-Modus ist es nicht zu komprimiert. Die ODR-Einstellung ist perfekt im Bass, wenn man fette Drives mag.
Das entscheidende für mich: Es ist ein eigenständiges Drive/Boost-Tool. Hab ich einen Amp mit viel Bass Tone in TS Mode und mit dem Regler dahin wo es für die Situation passt. Ist der Amp eher schlank im Bass gibt der OD-Mode hier ein passendes Pfund drauf und mit Tone findet man dann den High-Mid-Cut der passt. Je nach dem was man machen will hat man hier ein sehr flexibles Drive/Boost-Pedal.

endlich kann ich meinen Fender Champ clean mit fettem bass einstellen und habe ein Drive-Booster der in Tone/TS und Drive/OD Einstellung einen dazu passenden Gain-Sound ermöglichte. Reise ich den Champ voll auf und drehe da dann den Bass naturgemäß ganz Raus ist Tone/OD Mode die perfekte Einstellung. Drive kann dann nach belieben gewählt werden. Der TS-Modus liefert hier einen schönen Violin-Lead-Sound, oder man hat mit OD einen fett/tighten Rhythmus-Sound.

Der Tone-Schalter könnte für mich noch eine Mittel-Stellung zwischen OD und TS zur bass-Anpassung haben, aber das ist wirklich jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Der geht sofort auf mein Board und kommt so schnell nicht mehr runter, da ich nun nur noch ein Basic-Boost/Drive brauche anstatt zwei!
