Great Accessory for Line6 products

I own an Amplifi 75 and adding this pedal to my setup has made a fantastic difference to play live. Before I was limited to the 4 presets in the Amp (unless I wanted to use the iOS app) but now I have all the freedom to use all my presets and change effects on the fly. Very robust build. My only complaint is that Line6 could upgrade the Amplifi firmware to be able to use all the "colours" available from the pedal board which are only available on newer amps.

Multi Coloured LED's work only on Firehawk

I bought this to use with my Amplifi75 and it's wonderful. It works exactly as advertised and is surprisingly stable (it's also quite heavy so it doesn't move).

One thing though that's not advertised as clearly as it could be is the multi-coloured LED ring functionality only works with certain amps (like the Firehawk1500). This isn't a flaw so it definitely gets 5 stars, but sites could do a bit of a better job highlighting this at the beginning so customers aren't misled.

Thomann has done a great job in this regard in changing all the displayed pictures to show only the red LED's - so that's nice.

Great foot switch

Combined with the right amplifier is great in usage and easy to understand all its features. Also can be used in pc programs as well. Totally worth the cost if you can afford it and if you have the amplifier that matches with it. If you don't have the matching amplifier then maybe you should check it before you buy it.

Less than expected

I was expecting full compatibility and promised features with all the listed Line6 products but it appears to not be quite that good.

The color leds will not work with anything but Firehawk 1500.

With Pod HD I can't get any lights on the FS1-FS5 switches and their mappings are wrong on the Pod HD Edit software.

The documentation only explains use with FH1500 and other products have too old manuals to include this unit.

Build quality is strudy and I believe this can take some heavy use. I'll gladly write another, more praising review if these issues get fixed in the future or if they release proper documentation that helps me sort them out.
