Meerklang Double Monochord 155/24, the double monochord features two planes of strings with different roots, the interval between the planes is a fifth, both planes can be played at the same time, due to the sum of the sounding strings the overall sound of the instrument features more overtones and a full-bodied and more powerful resonance compared to the standard monochords. Solid spruce top, back made of poplar/birch-wood, sides made of alder, nut and bridge made of walnut, length 155cm, width 24cm, height 10cm, 60 strings, G/D-tuning. Comes with tuning-key, replacement-strings, a pair of feet.
