High quality strings, balanced warm sound. They also stayed in tune very quickly.
Playing time, yet to be seen. I have noticed the 1st and 2nd strings aren't wrapped like other strings of lesser cost (at the ball end), but doesn't affect sound.
I also think I might be one of the few who has ordered a set of mediums, since the low E string has a slightly darker color than the rest of the set indicating a set that was sitting a while. They're on a Taylor 710.

Ich nutze oft Saiten von europäischen Herstellern. Die Optima Saiten bieten für ihren Preis eine verhältnismäßig hoheHaltbarkeit. Ich habe diesen durchaus "dicken" Saitensatz auf eine Akustikgitarre mit Mahagoni Decke und Korpus gezogen. Sie entwickeln hier einen sehr warmen Klang. Nach kurzer Einspielzeit möchte ich die Saiten als eher sanft bezeichnen, was gut zum warmen Klang des Mahagoni passt. Na Ja, und die Vergoldung passt auch ganz gut. Im Ganzen kann ich Optima Saiten empfehlen. Ich habe einen solchen Satz allerdings auch auf einer Jumbo mit Fichtendecke und hier passt die sanfte Zurückhaltung eher nicht. Probieren!
