Quick to set up and intuitive and easy to use, a tone control would have been a nice extra.

The sound quality was OK though not impressive and did not do my Cort G 300 Pro any favours.

The main downside was the Presonus Controller software, whilst this installed quickly and efficiently there were instances where the Presonus Faderport software had overwritten the settings in my MAGIX Acid Pro Suite 10.

It had actually placed a locked padlock Icon in some mission critical settings making it impossible to assign any other input device or assign a MIDI keyboard as it was defaulted to Presonus Faderport !

It would have been very useful to know this would happen before my purchase as it took a couple of weeks of late nights to get my PC restored and back up and running.

Conclusion: probably not worth the hassle though it does read as an enticing package

You won't find a smaller, more compact and more portable audio interface than the AudioBox GO! I haven't tried it's inputs, but the headphone output is really loud, really like it!

Audiobox Go-Presonus- Installation und erste Versuche

Ich benötige das Interface in erster Linie, um direkt Ideen mit Gitarre und Gesang festzuhalten. Später möchte ich Aufnahmen damit machen. Am Anfang fiel mir auf, dass es doch nicht so praktikabel ist, dass die Buchsen sich auf der Rückseite befinden. Vorne wäre komfortabler allein schon wegen des Kabelsalats. . Die Verbindung mit dem Studio 5 war nicht selbsterklärend, brauchte mehrere Tipps von Freunden, damit es funktioniert. Letztendlich hat es dann gut geklappt. Bedienungsanleitung und Universal Control musste ersteinmal heruntergeladen werden. War für einen Laien wie mich auch nicht einfach, benötigte mehrere Versuche.
Vorteilhaft ist die kompakte auf den ersten Blick gut verarbeitete Box, und die kostenfreie Software mit Pre Sonus Basisversion.
Alles in allem empfehlenswert gerade auch für Anfänger des Homerecordings, um schnell mit wenigen Schritten Aufnahmen zu generieren.
