Fantastic, as expected!

The wired V7 happens to be one of my favorite live vocal mics, so getting a wireless version was a no-brainer. SE Electronics are always at the top of their game when it comes to build quality, and paired with Sennheiser's SKM-S transmitter base + EW-D receiver, the mic capsule sounds superb.

No doubt there are a lot of reviews out there of this capsule, nevertheless I want to leave mine.

Most noticeable features are as follow:
- Tone for vocal in the midds gives a "real" feeling without much of EQing
- Top end clarity (but not too harsh -> very very very smooth)
- Plosives are well controlled because of the pop filter incorporated

If I had to leave some bad feedback, the only thing would be the lack of color choice too match with most handheld Sennheiser transmitters

Overall: Best money to quality supercardiod capsule

Preis-Wert, wenn man den V7 Sound mag

Zum Klang kann man einfach die Reviews des sE V7 lesen. Kurzfassung: Eher enge Richtcharakteristik, für den Preis recht präzise Höhenwiedergabe, Nahbesprechungseffekt nicht so stark ausgeprägt wie bei vielen, auf turbulenteren Bühnen eher im Vorteil. Mein derzeitiger Favorit für Rockmusik u.ä.

Und sonst? Naja, draufgeschraubt und los. Die Gesamtkonstruktion mit dem Handsender wird etwas länger als mit den Sennheiser e935-Kapseln, die ich sonst drauf habe. Erster Einsatz mit zwei Bands: Überzeugend, die SängerInnen hatte keine Probleme mit der Handhabung, alles lief solide, der Sound war eben wie erwartet der des V7.

Der Preis von 129 Euro ist noch okay. Als komplettes Mic an der Strippe kostet das V7 ja im Moment 95 Euro. Bei Singheiser sind die Kapseln prozentual nicht ganz so viel teurer wie die Kabelmics.

Jetzt bräuchte ich eine Mischung aus Sennheiser e935 und v7: Das 935 nimmt breiter auf, hat aber einen deutlichen Nahbesprechungseffekt. Für Podiumsdiskussionen mit ungeübten Mic-NutzerInnen nehme ich lieber das 935, da die das Mic überall hinhalten nur nicht genau vor den Mund. Mit dem sich ändernden Sound muss ich leben, wenn es doch mal jemand vor den Mund hält. Die V7-Kapsel wäre vom Sound her besser, würde aber zu wenig mitnehmen, wenn mal wieder das Mic einfach sonstwie gehalten wird.
