Best 8 String neck pickups I’ve played!
I am an instrumental guitarist/artist, so how a pickup sounds is very important to me. I was using EMGs and DiMarzios before I purchased this, but I was put off of buying passive pickups for 8 strings because of DiMarzio’s Ionizers. I expected the worst when purchasing the Sentient and Pegasus set but it has been the best pickups purchase I have made for my 8 strings.
I prefer them now to both the EMGs and DiMarzios, I’m able to obtain a way more expressive tone with leads, and still create that Gnarly tone we all love from the 8 strings in one set of pickups so I highly recommend any Seymour Duncan set whether you play Metal or Jazz, you will not be disappointed.

Huge upgrade
Upgraded to this because my stock pickup sound was trash, I was amazed. I play primarily Djent/Metalcore, and it just sounds great. Recommended.
