Source Audio pedals are excellent and highly controllable through MIDI. Why they don’t support MIDI directly in the pedal as so many other manufacturers do is unknown. That said, this is a very effective way to add that feature. Easy to set up and no problems encountered.

Mein erster Schritt in die Midi-Welt. ich möchte mit meinem HX Stomp einen Audio Source C4 steuern. Der Stomp soll mit einem Fußschalter den FX-Loop ein- bzw- ausschalten (darin hängt der C4) und dabei einen bestimmten Sound der 128 gespeicherten Presets laden.
Das funktioniert auf Anhieb - kein Problem: im HX Stomp in den Global Settings das Senden einschalten (TX Midi Clock, Midi PC TX) und im Command Center den Schalter belegen (CC 104 für Preset Reclam und den Wert auf das Preset 0-127 legen).
Man kann wohl auch Midi Clock Befehle senden, so dass das Tempo im C4 und im HX synchronisiert werden - das habe ich noch nicht probiert. Wenn das genauso einfach ist, schaffe ich das auch.

Die Kabel sind eher etwas für ein Pedalboard - ich glaube nicht, dass die gern sehr häufig hineingesteckt und wieder herausgezogen werden wollen - das machen die Stecker und Kabel bestimmt nicht ewig mit - aber das ist eine Vermutung.

Falls sich jemand fragt, ob man an den Midi-Thru Anschluss ein zweites Source Audio Pedal anschließen kann; nein, das funktioniert leider nicht. Schade, dafür benötigt man dann einen zweiten SA168 Midi-Adapter. Das TRRS Kabel, hin zum Pedal ist übertrieben Lang, das sei noch erwähnt.
