When I ordered the Suhr Classic S, I wasn't blown away by any of the colour choices but I needn't have worried as the quality of the finish more than makes up for this. The sound quality from all 3 pickups is excellent, with each note ringing out clearly. If you are looking for a strat style guitar, this one is right up at the top of the pile! A great choice, which should hold it's value very well.

Nun also meine zweite Suhr Classic

Auf der Suche nach "der Gitarre" ist man nach 30 Jahren als Live-Musiker schon langsam heikel….und weil man für Live eben mindestens 2 Gitarren braucht mit der gleichen Klasse, hab ich mir meine zweite Suhr classic HSS zugeführt.

Vorweg, sie ist ein Arbeitstier!!! Mit dieser Gitarre spiele ich von Clean bis Utra-Attacke einfach alles und immer behält sie ihren Charm. Selbst üble Trasher waren ab ihrem Ton überrascht und dies nicht nur im Humbuckerbetrieb!

Der Hals ist einfach Klasse zum Spielen. Meine Finger laufen hier irgendwie einfach besser. für mich sind meine anderen Gitarren nun plötzlich gewöhnungsbedürftig geworden...

In den Vintage-Sound der V60LP im Hals bin ich immer noch verliebt.

Hell, klar, ohne Brumm, transparent im Ton ohne wenn und aber Hammer. Auch die anderen Einstellungen sind jede für sich top und gut aufeinander abgestimmt.

Macht das Holz -sprich heller Hals/dunkler Hals was aus? Bei diesen Tonabnehmer auf jeden Fall!!! Für mich persönlich war der Maple-Hals leicht zu spitz trotz der Lower-Peak PU. Der dunkle Hals hat's dann aber gerichtet.

Die Gitarre ist wiederum sauber und schön verarbeitet (Suhr halt)

Ob ich sie empfehlen könnte? Aber sicher, weil mit der zweiten spielt man besser : )
