Very Good Quality, Just Harder Than Expected.
The mallets are harder than I expected. The rubber isn't quite as bouncy as I thought it would be but that's certainly no fault to Thomann, just my own expectations.
The sound is comparable to wood mallets of the same size but slightly softer. If you're looking for some variety in timbre, it's always nice to have different mallets. Can't go wrong at this price in my opinion.

Short and soft
For my use, and my large hands, these mallets are a bit too short.
Also the impact while hitting the key of the "Glockenspiel" appears quite soft. - I much prefer the crisper sound of my wooden mallets over the sound produced by the rubber heads of these mallets.

Tiny but nice!
Nice feel and weight, they are a bit short but they help produce a very nice, soft sound, great for recording most idiophones except for xylophones.

Way better than my stock mallet
This was purchased along with the Sonor NG10 Soprano Glockenspiel. This was way better and smooth sounding than the mallets that came with it the glockenspiel.
