Super creamy and vibey saturation tones. Attack and release character can be quite aggressive so recommend using it for fairly low amounts of gain reduction but it's become a staple on my mixbus for the vibe.

Ja, der Kompressor hat einen deutlichen Klangcharakter und auch sein Regelverhalten ist offensiv. Irgendwas in den Tiefmitten verschwindet und ganz viel Airband kommt dazu. Er klingt expressiv. Er holt einen runter vom Sofa und stellt einen auf die große Bühne. Nix klingt wie vorher, oft geht mir zu viel verloren an Grundtonbereich - oder bei Summenbearbeitung an Phantommitte - aber wenn es passt, ist es toll und alleine dafür lohnt er sich ihn zu haben!

Der Abbey Road RS124 Compressor macht seinem Namen alle Ehre.
Vintage Sound vom feinsten. Jede Art von Gesang holt er in die Frontlinie und keine Silbe geht verloren. Er färbt das Signal zwar je nach Einstellung stark ein , aber er verleiht Stimmen immer den gewissen Schmatz, den ich noch von alten Tonbandaufzeichnungen her kenne, man könnte glauben eine alte Studer Bandmaschine in der Sättigung zu hören. Es klingt wie Honig im Kanal, der das Signal vorne anklebt.
Gesang, oder etwas flache klingenden Gitarren bekommen sofort ein Fundament, Bock und Platz im Mix.
Für Summenkompression bzw. Mastering ist er nur sehr mit Vorsicht zu verwenden, aber alleine die MS Bearbeitung erlaubt hervorragend das Mitte und Seiten Signal eines Mixes getrennt zu komprimieren und die Basisbreite bzw. Monokompatibilität des Signals einzustellen.
Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!
