Amazing versatile monitors
TheSoundsGuy 26.04.2024
With the Yamaha HS5 being among the most popular studio monitors, HS4 are in my opinion, a great option, especially for someone who is just getting their toes dipped into studio gear. What sets them apart is the volume switch in front, which in my opinion makes them more user friendly. Soundwise, I can't comment on exactly how they compare, but the sound is excellent as expected. They definitely don't sound tiny, that's for sure, unless you use them in a bigger room. Overall, I would say they are for someone who's looking for a great pair of monitors that don't cut the corners, are very versatile and offer pretty much everything you need, but in a smaller, more affordable package.

Nice surprise for the buck!
MickyStoner 09.01.2024
I was surprised by the sound. I had the chance to compare them with my 6inch JBL4326s and even tought the frequency response is very different I can still listen to the dimension and location of the sounds well represented in the stereo. I will probably be using these when I want to focus on the translation of the high frequencies when mixing.
Nice built and very elegant white design also.
