Ich nutze den Vintage Clipper zur letzten Andickung von meist stark modulierenden Bässen, um ein möglichst gut aufgearbeitetes in den Rechner zu kriegen.

Der Clipper färbt tatsächlich eher dunkler, aber das ist eher gut, damit es nicht so krächzig wird. Er kommt durchaus subtil rüber und ist kein Verzerrer. Der Clipper reguliert die Transienten und arbeitet recht organisch mit dem ihm zugeführten Material. Die Tonmasse wird "nach vorne geholt" und ist dann gutmütiger im Rechner weiterzubearbeiten.
