This is perfect for Fender basses, I installed it on my Fender Precision and was delighted to find that it matched the contour of the bass perfectly. Obviously clever design for a direct drop in on Fender style basses. The metal is very sturdy and feels like it will last a lifetime, it also holds the jack in place perfectly. Highly recommended.

when considering this could be put on almost any random model of guitar they could make the screwholes slightly more far apart and wider so its more versatile. Other than that the quality is good/ feels thicker and stronger than my old one but ill need to make a new screwhole on my guitar to be able to install it. I have an Ibanez Gio GRX70QA, so probably wouldnt recommend this to any other ibanez owners

I replaced a similar one made of plastic that was broken... it fitted really good in a yamaha sg and it will stay there forever.

Great upgrade for Gretsch guitars
Michael9841 29.11.2016
Many low-to-mid-price Gretsch hollowbodies mount the jack directly to the side wall which makes them very susceptible to damage. This jackplate is an inexpensive upgrade to protect your investment. It installs in just a couple of minutes (all you need to do is bend it mildly to get it to match the radius of the guitar's side wall) and greatly improves the reliability and security of the jack.
