Problem solver, comes at a price
I purchased the buzz stop to fix a couple of issues with my Jazzmaster.
Saddle/bridge issues and string buzzing is a common issue with jazzmaster, it can happen even when properly set up.
The product is well built, solid, sturdy and works perfectly to give the strings some more tension, eliminate buzz and increases significantly sustain. There are of course different schools of thought about using it on jazzmasters as using the buzz stop does take away the characteristic twang and short response of the jazzmaster sound. This happens. The tremolo/whammy bar does get harder as the tension on the strings is increased. Those of you who are looking to resolve jazzmaster issues without changing its characteristic sound, the buzzstop is not for you. Better off getting another bridge or spend more time fine tuning it, raising the action and adjusting the truss rod. But if you want to give your guitar more singing power, presence, tuning and string stability on the bridge better palm mutes, and eliminate buzz from the strings hitting the saddle screws, the buzz stop does the trick. Its just a question of what kind of sound you want out of the guitar and deciding accordingly.

Steals some personality, but does the job
I try not to use this, but it's still nice to have. Plenty of other options to address the same problem, and theoretically a good setup is the most important thing in addressing offset bridge buzz. But this is cheap, effective, and easy to put-on and take off without affecting the guitar.

Worth trying for Jag/Jazzmaster People
I'd bought a Made In Japan Jaguar that I'd had a lot of trouble with the bridge and a strange rattling/resonance issue. I swapped out the bridge for an Allparts Mustang bridge which helped somewhat. However the B string was still dead sounding. I gave this a go to see if it helped and it has made a big difference. Only downside is that it does change the feel of the guitar and restricts access to the tremolo bar. Can't do the behind the bridge stuff either. All in all, it's worth trying out as it's pretty cheap; I've had it on my Jag for a few years now but will probably take it off next time I change strings. I'd recommend it anyway, apparently the Mastery Bridge sorts out all the Jag issues but they're very expensive!!

Could not recommend enough
My jazzmaster was driving me crazy as the bridge used to rattle horribly everytime I played the low strings. I did a bit of research and found this product and I couldn’t be happier. Installation was dead simple and the rattling has completely stopped

Does what it's designed to do
Bough it for my Jaguar HH Special because I was suffering from string buzz on strings behind the bridge. I reckon it is more common to have that "problem" on Jaguar than not to have it at all.
Guitar being amplified, the buzz does not really matter but I still wanted it gone at all times and got myself this Buzz Stop, and as you may guess, no buzz no more.
Easy to install and it doesn't look too bad on the guitar. I prefer this over improvised ways to remove string buzz

Perfect
Perfect addition to my jazzmaster

great sound
This thing makes sustain for my MIM Jaguar, but after you install it, you cannot use the tremolo lock. It's a pitty, but with a grater you can rasp it a bit to make the trem lock work again,

Buzzstop
It does what it says on the can. It has stopped the rattles that were there before and most importantly it stops the strings from slipping out of their slots at the bridge. Why Fender do not fit this originally is a mystery. It actually fits on top of the tremolo unit using the top two screws that fit the tremolo to the body.The strings then go under the chrome roller bar. I have fitted this to a Fender Squire Vintage Modified Jaguar and the tremolo now works perfectly.
