OK, but room for improvement
Anonymous 06.06.2016
There will be very subtle differences in tone between this bridge and whatever you have now unless your current bridge is terrible.

Plus: This bridge looks bling - fitting one screams "pimped bass". The main reason I bought a Babicz is that there are no grub screws to stick into your hand when you are playing / damping down at the bridge. (I could have achieved this with my old bridge by filing down the blunt ends of the grub screws.) The cam action string height setting is a breeze. On my Yamaha BB414 I could fit this bridge without any drilling - the BB414 factory bridge shares the same drill pattern and placement as the Babicz - which is the same as the Fenders, I believe. The string spacing is also perfect for my BB414.

Minus: My Yamaha's earth wire contact is off to the side between the D & G strings. This bridge is made from anodised aluminium and has a contact area on the back in the middle. To make earth contact in any other place you will need to get rid of the anodising at the contact point. I used a milling machine to skim off a 0.1mm deep patch between D & G. A file / sandpaper could be used instead - messier. This bridge is no good for through-hole basses like the Yamaha BB424. They need to supply several different lengths of spring, not just 2 short-ish and 2 long-ish.

Improve playability and sound in one easy upgrade
Anonymous 08.06.2016
I decided that I needed to start a project with my Squier Standard Precision bass and the Babicz bridge was one of the first components I chose to replace.

Here's the rub - it slots straight in as a direct replacement. A very easy DIY upgrade for most Fenderesque Jazz/Precision basses (do check before buying).

What do you get? Well, a far punchier tone, much broader scale of adjustment and a serious look.

This bridge is not cheap for what it is, but it is very well crafted. It will last a long time. It's fairly light, also. Far lighter than the bridge it replaced, anyway. It feels like a high quality product.

Adjusting the intonation is a bit of a faf, but that's the only minor bad point I can think off. The action adjustment is a experience to behold. It's lovely. Over-engineered, but I like that in a 'thing'. I might sound a little geeky, but the smoothness of the saddle hight adjustment is something I could play with for hours. It all adjusts with tiny allen keys.

If you want to give your bass a cool look, better sound and the feel of a far more expensive bass, I would definitely recommend this product.

Well engineered Bass Bridge
Paul P. 657 13.03.2014
I removed the standard bridge from my Fretless bass and replaced it with the Babicz Bass Bridge.

This bridge is a lovely piece of hardware. It comes with fitting instructions an allen key and screws. Very easy to fit, it's literally just a case of remove and replace. The 5 screw holes align perfectly.
The Cam adjustment design provides precision adjustment for string height, and the intonation can adjusted and locked in place.
The Bridge is already set up in a generic fashion, so you could play immediately, if bridge adjustment and intonation is not your thing.
When I'd restrung the bass and made the necessary adjustments to my playing style and preference. I found that the solid build of the bridge and its direct contact on the bass body, made the tone and resonance of the bass so much warmer. Each note now has so much more sustain. It looks really cool too.

Best Aerodyne Jazz Bass bridge replacement ever!
Kaqalko 08.02.2019
I had this bridge in my previous bass guitar, Gibson EB 2013. I was very happy with it so I decided to use it to upgrade my Aerodyne Jazz Bass from 2017. Now the sustain is much better, same with attack. Finally I can palm mute comfortably when playing with pick. Definitely a great upgrade over stock bridge. When you learn how to set it up which might be pretty challenging at first you will find it very intuitive and comfortable. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

Nice for Fender, stabile and easy
Anonymous 12.03.2017
Mounted on Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass, perfekt fit, no drilling. Better than any Fender bridge (Basses that don't need vintage bridges).
So stabile and easy to adjust.
It has no string spacing adjustment, but I dont need it, was perfect for me as it is.

If I must say something about what I didn't like (Black painted one);
The paint could be better in some corners, not so shiny, and do you really need paint on the back at all? Little bit tricky to make sure that the ground cable touches the tiny not painted area.
At that price, I expect 100% finish.

swapped out stock fender bridge on aerodyne bass where the intonation screws loosened all the time.Contrary to many opinions, this high mass bridge adds greately to a more beefy and stable sound.
Expensive but worth every dime.

highly recommended

I was customizing a fender squire jag bass and wanted to upgrade the stock bridge. There were a couple of options for the bridge but I went with the Babicz ... well for aesthetic reasons if I am honest. It was so easy to fit no pre-drilling required just a straight swap I didn't have to tinker too much with the intonation but again this is really adjustable and easy to do. What a difference it made, the sustain on what is essentially a low/mid price range bass is incredible. Every time I have this bass in the studio the engineer remarks on the sustain. I would imagine it would be just as easy to fit on all fender or squire models.

Perfect quality, awesome sound
Laszlo P. 09.08.2013
I bought my Fender Precision Bass with a standard vintage style bridge. I wanted a better quality, modern bridge with more setting options (BadAss II or something similar), because vintage bridge is too opened and instabile. It don't gives me the easy setup. This Babicz bridge is really cool and professional. Easy to install and now my P-Bass sounds great - as always - but Babicz "Full contact hardwere" gives me that stability that I never get from the vintage bridge plus I can modify my bridge settings and the action EASILY. I can recommend this part for every P-Bass users who wants a better option than ám old style vintage bridge.

Excellent bridge
Fran The Man 16.09.2021
Man, I love this bridge!
I recently bought a Sandberg bass and I really hated its bridge: terrible quality, very challenging to set it up. So I decided to replace it with a Babicz one and, what an upgrade! Very easy to setup, it looks great, it adheres perfectly on the body of the bass, very good materials.

NO CONS!

Tune up your Precision Bass!

Tune up your Precision Bass!

I replaced the original vintage bridge of my Roger Waters Signature Precison Bass with the Babicz Bass Bridge.

You´ll get a more modern sound with more sustain and a better attack playability.

Installing is very easy, everything you need is included. - only replace the old bridge with the neu Babicz. Screws and holes will fit perfect.
