I put this plus an Old Guard neck and a True Grit bridge in my strat. I really like these pickups, besides the warm and smooth vintage alnico 2 sound, the flat poles really helped balance the sound and reduce stratits. I was able to raise my pickups up much more now because of the flat poles, and they really tamed the G string which was quite over the top before.
