Perfect external sound card still working after lots of roadtrips
I use this soundcard on the road to record to, or play from, my computer. The little usb soundcard has never let me down. It is very well build and keeps working even though I am not handling it with much care after all these years. Only one minor: Installing the right drivers for the right computer is an absolute pain. But once that is done, you will love this device.

Great for USB interface of an analog PA system
I ordered this for our band's goal to record some demo songs using an old school analog PA mixer. We only wanted to have a stereo sound, especially for the drums. Within this scope, we were very happy how well if worked out with the UCA222. Very easys to use, just plug and play with the computer, no tedious driver installations or anything - it just basically becomes a microphone.
Of course, you can't expect multitrack recording with ability to control every single channel via the computer - we really did it old school on the PA mixer!
Great product for a great price.

Simple plug and play device that performs well for streaming
We used some of these in our radio studios to connect to a recording/streaming server to our sound desk (for internet broadcast and broadcast archiving), and another was used to take the output from a presenters' PC providing audio during broadcasts.
They've performed reliably as long we've had them, not causing any issues since we've started their use.
Pros:
- Good sound quality
- Plug and play operation
- Extremely reliable
Cons:
- None!

This little piece of hardware does wonders for people who do not want to use their onboard soundcard, or are beggining to record non-acoustic instruments. Also, with it's inputs, you can connect any mixing desk to your computer: record a jam session with ease, or your own experimentations, one layer at a time :)
Superb quality for the price, used it for years without problems, as it's pretty much Plug&Play!
This is where to begin.

Sacrificing quality for portability.
I don't think the audio quality is good, it's hard to ask for better audio quality at that price, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Magique
