Beyer continued support for their products sets them apart.
It is great to be able to get parts for the Beyer line of studio headphones and none more than the DT100 and DT250. A rare thing these days when most brands work on the dubious principle of built in obsolescence to make maximum profit at the expense of the customer and the environment.
I have been servicing a pair of DT250s for over 15 years and they still look and sound great as tracking cans.
I prefer a straight cable than the coiledbut his is harder to find (if it is available anymore I don't know) because the coiled cable seems to put more strain on the plugs either end. However the advantage of the coiled cable is that if it does snag you feel it before the snagged cable pulls the headphones off your head or worse; pulls your interface/headphone amp etc. off the desktop.
Beyer must be commended for this fully serviceable approach to headphone design and indeed supported for this in an ever disposable world. It makes great sense for the studio owner keen to keep costs down. Highly recommended headphones is a given with Beyer but the addition of full serviceability makes them indispencable in the professional fields of studio and broadcast. Good quality cable.

I was worried, but...
I was a bit worried, because it didn't take more than two months for the cable on my new headphones to go bad. There was something loose, because I was losing low end, I was losing sound, and I was hearing crackling. I take good care of my things, so this suprised me. I've had this new cable now for over a year, and there have been no issues whatsoever.

Made for everyday use
This cable is a replacement for one that has been used for 15 years. Part home use, but last 5 years office, and being packed/unpacked several times per day.
Easy to replace and a flexible in use with the provided 1/4 inch adapter.
The old cable can still be repaired and will then be a perfect backup.
Solid engineering!

Great Cable!
A great, durable cable for my DT250s. I'm writing this review after using this cable for over 5 years almost daily. It's honestly still as solid as the day i received it. The fact that it's coiled makes it far more manageable than the original straight cable that came with the headphones. The only tiny negative that i can think of is that it only came with one screw which i lost long ago, but i've never really had a need to use it. If you need a replacement cable this is the one to go for.

Simple and easy to replace
Very easy to swap this out on your headphones, all you need is a small flat screwdriver, like the ones used for repairing watches.
The cable is of a pretty decent quality, but like all cables that are used heavily it will eventually deteriorate and break.
Ive owned my DT250's for 7 years now and am on my third cable. But that beats having to buy a new pair of headphones every few years!

Fungerar topp
Inte mycket å säga. Jag använde multimeter och konstaterade att det var nånstans i kabeln som jag hade problem. Beställde ny här på Thomann. Skickades, levererades, skruvades fast i lurarna. Nu är de som nya igen och bör hålla några år till med mitt hanterande av dessa fina hörlurar.

money saver
its all to often i find myself throwing away good gear due to minor faults. Being able to replace minor parts is a godsend, these cables are well made and fitted exactly as desired into my dt205's comes with all the necessary screws and 3/4'' adapter, which is nice. I believe they also fit most of the other dt range, at least i managed to get some dt100's running off one of these cables too. Handy to have about.
