Does not stay connected, and freezes camera!

Unfortunately, this does not work with the Pyxis 6k I have been using it with. I tried it with 4 separate cables and it will disconnect, cutting off the video feed to the monitor, and then will freeze the camera itself. When it freezes the camera it does not record the shot. Makes this completely unusable. A real shame, I wanted very much to like this product.
