Amazing little pedal for vocalists
I must admit, i bought this product with some reservations in mind regarding how authentic etc it might sound. There is another similar product available in a blue pedal, which also sounds good, however after comparing the two, i think the Boss pedal just had the edge of the other one. I ordered from Thomann, and it arrived a few days later. You can't really beat the service you guys offer. It arrived just in time for my gig. In use, the harmony effect is great, if you key in the correct harmony for the song. Luckily you can store 3 of your favourite settings, which we managed to use on a few different songs. I think the more you work with the pedal, and go through the best settings for the song, the better results you will get. So basically it sounds good out of the box, but even better if you dedicate some time to try all the settings on your songs, and pick what sounds the best. Great speedy service again from Thomann, thanks guys.

Not exactly what i expected but still fine
I bought this one to busk, knowing the quality of its bigger brother the VE-20 and that this one is newer, i thought that the sounds quality of the reverb and harmonies could be the same, but it's not. The size of the pedal is really nice, super hard to miss, the three memories are useful. I guess it's worth its price.

Boss Quality - but be careful!
Can this pedal deliver all it claims? In short no...but let's be realistic, if it could create perfect harmony as easily as it claims then we'd be in heaven! So, realistically, what's good and what isn't so good?
Construction: Solid Boss construction, no complaints here. Controls are simple and well laid out 10/10.
In Use: I'm not sure why but this pedals performance seems variable. The quality of the harmony produced depends on what you are singing in the first place and what you are trying to create. Sometimes the harmony created appears to be 'quite realistic' and at other times it creates a harmony which is awful or just so obviously non human generated.
I think it's a pedal that takes some getting used to. To get the best out of it you will have to work at it and be open minded. It won't instantly create perfect harmony all of the time. Sometimes it does what you expect, sometimes it doesn't. I think the bottom line is that this is very much more useful as a live tool. The recorded harmony effect doesn't really stand scrutiny on recordings, but this is just my opinion. I will continue to experiment however. 7/10
Thomann Service: Excellent 10/10

Good product, but less natural
This product is good with good features. Setting up the key and also combo mode with the guitar is great. The pitch control works fine. However it sounds less natural to me compare another pedals and feels like the sounds is spreading everywhere instead of to feel compact. I had problem to enjoy singing with it and dive into music, just didnt feel super sweet. But over all is great pedal.

Good For Vocalist
This product is good especially for vocal effect, but I got difficulty to adjust the setting for guitar such as guitar volume and effect. Mic Volume and phantom power is OK.

This is a great piece of kit for any solo singers or for those who play with non singers.
This is so simple to use and adds so much to a performace when used in moderation.
I use just one setting (3rd above or below depending on the song)
if a song is anyway high and the upper harmony goes to falsetto its kind of digital sounding but apart from that it takes your voice without altering it.
Would recommend

I love it. And so did the audience
Just had the first live performance using this pedal.
The harmonies are great (I was using the guitar feature) and sound amazing if you keep it somewhat simple. It doesn't do miracles obviously, but it works very well for my needs.
It is also easy to use and very intuitive. It doesn't drain the batteries quickly. It has some very fine effects and it made my voice sound better somehow. ++ score ++

Anecdotic
I am not expert and first time using voice treatment FX.
Our singer wanted reinforcement so we bought that unit to try.
I find this useless. Sound is artificial, cold, undistinctive, digital.
Might just not be my cup of tea though.
Plus: Quality built, simple to use, clear front panels even in the dark.
Note:
- my unit doesn't work at 9 V but at 6V or 7.5V.
- Phantom powers mic from the box only, you still need power/batteries to power the unit.

Boss VE2 harmony pedal
As a solo guitarist/singer/performer I miss the backing harmony of the band. The VE2 works well on its simplest setting with one harmony voice above mine. I find the two harmony setting a bit false sounding, though I may persevere with it for my Eagles set. The pitch correction and reverb/delay are not something I feel the need for. I have not had the pedal long enough to evaluate it fully, but it was simple to use and worked well the first time I used it in public. I feel sure it will become an important part of my performance the more I become accustomed to it.

Great tool for bands with only one or 2 vocals
It can expand the voices in a very true way.
It's very useful, the best feature is the chord related key feature.
Useful for one man band, and for bandmates not able to sing other note than the root.
Easy connections, quite current demanding, as you can expect for a digital device like this.
It can find a place in your pedalboard.
Good sounds, a little bit sterile.
