At 75 I'm stiffening up and had sold my Admira some time ago. Playing folk & electric guitars. Tried a cheap but well made 3/4 Classical & loved it.
So ended up getting this Caballero (7/8).
The build quality, set up & sound is quite amazing. Action & intonation bang on. The Cedar top is beautiful as is the darker back & sides. The neck is slimmer than standard with a slightly flattened profile... different but I'm used to it now. Black machine heads are also smart & very smooth.
It's Sonorous without being too loud.
Niggles. Had to take a file to the fret ends... no problem. Only 1 fret market at the 5th. The Label inside the Guitar says GEWA Guitars in large print and in very small print 'Guitarras Manuel Rodriguez'... should be other way around. And no MR logo anywhere!
Stupid low price for what you get. Stunning!
