Cioks 4 expander

The images state otherwise, but I received revision 1.1 of the Cioks 4, which allows for charging via USB-C to USB-C device (the previous version didn't support this, only from a USB-A port).

Note that power is limited via USB - I can only draw around 800mA total. Using a 1-Spot dramatically increases available amperage, the manual is really helpful on this.

Not much to say about the product itself it ticks all the boxes if you need a 4 plug extender. Great company, reliable products that perform well with adjustable voltage everywhere and high current supply. Honest features; not like some other companies that offer 'switching' supplies that are not true switching supplies. Not my first Cioks and won't be the last for sure. Good value for money; other companies at a similar price do not offer the current and/or output voltages Cioks does.

Bought this together with a Cioks DC7. I'm planning to use this power a Line6 HX Stomp and an Eventide H90. By setting the power outlets to the correct voltages and using a current-doubling cable, it easily meets the required power requirements of two power hungry pedals. For such a small footprint, I'm simply amazed at the ability of this unit. You can't find something remotely close to this!

I bought this one to extend my DC7. Both proving to be of great quality, which is very important to me because these units are underneath the board and often exposed to rough enviroments and weather conditions, never had any issues. Very stable and practical, both in shape and function.

Quality product, fits perfectly my Pedaltrain Nano Max and Nano+.

So this and a DC 7 powers 11 pedals - perfect for something like a Pedaltrain Classic JR, which is to me the perfect "big" board size. If you want full clean power under for example a Classic 2 sized Board then I think the DC 7 plus Expander 8 is right.
