Daddario ESXL170

Daddario strings are very well made and these strings are no exception. It is my opinion that Daddario strings sound fantastic when they are brand new, giving a very metallic and robust sound, making them great to record rock music with. My big problem with this particular model of string is that they do not stay bright for a very long time and sound completely dead after 5 gigs. They are a reasonably priced string and as such replacing them is not too much of a financial burden. I personally would like to see a double ball end, stainless steel, coated string in the Daddario range.

I've used strings from lots of manufacturers more and less expensive than these but these strings I've found to be the best and while string choice is a personal thing you can't go far wrong with these.
