Great tone
Love the tone from these strings. Great tuning stability, but I wear them out quite quickly - which I've always done with d'addarios.

Great!!
I haven?t used other strings then the NYXL since I first tried them. They last long and keep their tone longer then any other brand I have tried. They also stay in tune better. Highly recommended.

Good, crisp tone, did not dull as fast as dunlops.

Horses for courses ii
I replaced a set of xl145 12-54 with these on my Norlin 73 SG in Eb standard. I prefer the xl145s. These are harder to play. No idea why. A relatively expensive experiment… so I changed them for an elixir 11-49 to give my hands a break..

Love them
Lasted about 5 months without losing it's shine on my Jaguar. Also has ball joins soldered to they don't break in offset-type bridges.
