The smallest there is
It's about the smallest clip tuner in existence, it's totally unobtrusive, you can stick it on the headstock and just leave it there forever. I'm using these on all my electric and acoustic guitars, also I've used it on my bass ukulele in the past.
The pros:
-small footprint
-quicker turn-on and turn-off time than the previous version, PW-CT-10
-quick response
- it's reasonably accurate for the practical purposes. My Korg CA-50 seems to be more precise.
- reliability. I've had two of the previous version for what, eight years now, and never had issues with them, if that's any indication.
The cons:
- tuning sensitivity. It sometimes struggles with the B string on a guitar, shows it as F#. And while it is possible to use this thing on a bass, you'd better use 12th fret harmonics to tune it. It doesn't pick the low B up on my five-string.
- viewing angles could be better. Sometimes the shape of the headstock prevents you from turning the screen directly at you, and it gets hard to see what's going on. The previous green version has better angles.
- it's a touch expensive for what it is.
Overall, it's a good, very small tuner. There are better options if the size isn't the primary concern.

Cheap and handy
Design:
The most eyecatching feature is its small and compact design. I do not like big ugly designs of tuners attached onto headstock, so i used a tuner pedal until i saw this tuner. That one is just hiding behind headstock and you cannot break it accidentally.
Screen:
It is really small but has a descent screen. I have been using it at home and i can say the brightness is very good. (What about using outside? Dont know honestly...)
Accuracy:
That clip tuner is not as sensitive and accurate as the tuner pedal i used. But its OK for such small and cheap solution.
Quality:
Clip is not strong. It seems as if it will be broken easily. I wish it was metal. But it is plastic unfortunately.
Closure:
When i saw this small design, i checked the price and ordered immediately. At the moment i am using it heapily, it is so handy and i eliminate one pedal from the pedalboard.

Convenient, tiny, sturdy
A perfect tuner even if you play at crowded gigs with a lot of noise. The clip and the head can be easily adjusted on the part of your instrument you want the tuner to be hung. Calibration setting works just fine.
The only negative feedback I would give about this tuner is that for the bass guitar it takes some time to see the minor tuning changes on its screen. You have to hold the string and hit it once again to see what actually happened.
From price/quality perspective, this is a very good tuner !

Amazing little tuner
I have one of these on all my stringed instruments now as they work amazingly well for something so small. Most people don't even notice its there.
Another top quality D'addario product. As far as tuning goes it is excellent, easy to use and the battery lasts for ages.

Best tuner so far
I'm putting those tuners on all the instruments I regularly use - electric bass, jazz guitar, classical guitar, and a cavaquinho. It's easy to see, fast, accurate, and discrete.
The only issue I had with it: On electric bass, it does not track the low E string well. So I need to tune the A string, and then use harmonics to tune the E string.

Physical design and construction is weak
Update, I've got rid of these, they just don't respond to the low frequencies.
At first glance this a great little tuner because it is very small and accurate, possibly the most compact one available. And the display rotates electronically so you never have to read it upside down, wherever you mount it.
But the ratchet clip holding it to the headstock is weak and will spring off, I've lost one that way.
In the end I decided I wanted the unobtrusive small size so I took off the clip and fixed the body of the tuner to the rear of my headstock with Sugru, just behind the nut. This worked brilliantly, a permanent tuner on the guitar with nothing visible to the audience, easy to operate and read. But after a while the body of the tuner just came apart, they are held together with a snap fit which became weakened..
So I've bought another and this time I'll wipe a bit of Sugru into the seams to bond them together. Great product let down by poor construction.

Great, discreet tuner. I liked it so much I got 3 to keep at all times on my 3 guitars, saving me the hassle of changing tuner when I pick up another guitar. The calibration is a fun feature for exotic tunings. The color screen is vivid and easy to see, but still plenty discreet for live usage. The battery lasts many months of everyday use. The pickup is very sensitive, I only have trouble detecting vibrations when I drop my low E string to A or A# (which honestly is to be expected, and I wouldn't fault the tuner for that) Very recommended.

ADEQUATE…….JUST.
Ok I suppose, but somewhat fiddly, and it didn’t always pick up the notes on some of my many instruments. The display in daylight is not bright enough.
Just about ok for the money, but I would not be rushing to buy another. .

Great for guitar but not for bass
As many reviewers already indicated, this is a cool micro tuner, it amost disappear on headstocks, on black ones it is invisible. Unfortunately it does not work well on bass, the only way i can get the reading of the E string is playing an harmonic @ 12th fret. The fact that is not comptible with bass should be indicated to the buyer. Overall a great cool little tuner.
