Possibly the best "All Purpose" mouthpiece around!!!
Saxmadness 19.02.2016
Let's be honest, if you're looking for Guardala MPC's chances are you're coming from the 80's (until now) side of Jazz, unmistakably Michael Brecker and/or Branford Marsalis and so on... You're looking for an edge (whether on the dark or bright spectrum of sound) not easily obtainable by chance or from many brands out there. You like metal MPC's but many are scared by Dukoff (i personally played them for almost 30 years now and i love'em) and not totally satisfied by the rounded sound of OttoLink... Well, this is definitely the way you want to go! The idea of putting the "Studio" and "MB" together really gives this MPC something that both puts you at ease in terms of resistance, sound projection, quality and "Cut through" when soloing. The material is incredible and though the inside features are quite unusual, the sound speaks for itself. The response and attack are just incredible, everything is so well defined. Quick passages are heard note by note now! Last concerts with Mike Stern proved me right as by the time i had to "come out", effortlessly, intentions just came alive. So far i played with Java Red #2 and Rico SJ #2 Medium and Olegature ligature. My sound was always (between various instruments) a mix of Sanborn/Marienthal/Brecker but this MPC let me play WAY more than that. If you think about an MPS Guardala, stop thinking. Grab it and enjoy yourself more than you were used to!!! Cheers, Sam.

This is an easy playing and beautiful mouthpiece with a lot of power. It has a bright sound suitable for pop rock gigs. I wouldn't choose it for jazz nor classical.
