Not the best

I had a ddrum snare trigger for years before buying this set. I never really had a problem with the snare trigger, so I assumed these would be fine. In reality, I often have problems. Specifically with the recorded raw output signal when I use them on the acoustic kit. That is to say that the raw signal will either be incredibly weak or non-existent (swapped cables and inputs etc to troubleshoot).

Additionally, the build quality isn't too good. For example, I went to take the lead out of one of the tom triggers and the XLR socket fell apart. It seems a screw had come out but it's impossible to screw it back in because the XLR assembly is riveted in place. Although I can say that it makes sense that the ddrum trigger housings are made of metal rather than plastic, like some other products.

I primarily use these with my acoustic to electronic conversion practice kit, so the performance is not critical.

Yes, there are a number of more expensive triggers around. But could I tell the difference? I doubt it.

When the certain product-quality is reached, the thing to blame in case of responsiveness acting weird are not the triggers. Are they correctly installed, is the drumhead all good, does your module have the right settings? So far, over the course of more than 18 months of use, I have not a single time found a fault in the triggers themselves.

The price is what it is and you get what you pay for. I see no reason for anyone buying to be dissatisfied with the product.

After reading much about drum triggers i finally got round to purchasing these , the quality is very good and price not to bad , i installed them yesterday to my Ludwig breakbeat kit which was pretty easy after watching a tutorial if you buying these i would recommend mesh heads which go easy on the ears .
So far not problems in Cubase with using these triggers and i can recommend them to anyone with a studio looking for that live drummer performance without spending huge amounts of money on mics.

I have these and didn't buy the more expensive options. I've used them live and on several studio albums.

They're fantastic and I've never had any trouble at all! I don't know what the dearer ones can offer that these don't already do. Great item!

I had problems with the snare trigger straight away i.e it stopped working! by the time i`d pulled it to bits to see why, it was in no fit state to send back!
The other triggers were fine once i`d trimmed the double trigger responses down, but on the whole i was pretty dissapointed especially after paying £130.00 for them!

Very solid hardware, and easy to set up
Those triggers are standard of the industry for years

Pros:
Solid Hardware
easy to set up
Suits in most of drum modules
looks great

Cons:
The piezzo it self will get damaged with usage, I advise to buy a spare one
