Bigger sound, improved control, still good in top register.
Changed from a six to this SM4X. Still good in the top register, but better control. Improved intonation,. particularly at extreme dynamics,
Disadvantages: It can take more air, so care has to be taken not to over extend, resulting in short phrases. Been playing on it for about 2 weeks. I am sure practice will sort this out.
