Das 3 F Flügelhorn-Mundstück von Denis Wick hat einen schlankeren Ton als das 2 F Mundstück, d.h. der Kessel hat eine schlankere Form als das 2 F, die Bohrung ist genau so groß wie beim 2 F.

Bei diesem Mundstück kommt es meiner Meinung darauf an, mit welchem Flügelhorn es gespielt wird. Ich habe das Mundstück auf einem Courtois-Fl-horn (R156; 4-Ventile) und auf einem Besson gespielt: es waren zwei verschiedene KLang-Ereignisse.
