very good pickup..
I've the Super Distortion in the bridge of my Tokai Love Rock (Les Paul copy) and it's perfect for that type of guitar and body material. It's paired with a DiMarzio Super 2 in the neck (non F SPACED) they compliment each other well.. when switching between pickups it's a subtle change between them in sound and tone.. The Super Distortion is great for that classic rock / heavy rock sound.. Think Def Leppard for lead sound and riffs.. As Phil Collen their lead guitarist has been using Super Distortion pickups since the 80's. You can't go wrong with a Super Distortion.. You may need to back the gain off as they're a hot pickup. Worth buying..

a staple
F-spaced version aligns perfectly with a Fender Bullet H2 bridge.
the overdriven tone is classic. splits well too. have many other options, but I keep going back to DP100.
aslo worth mentioning - have 3 of these in different guitars, coming from different eras - the consistency is amazing.

Pickup at all times !
Wear the Ibanez rg paired with the Super 2 . The guitar was a new sound-great ! With this pickup you can play rock, hard rock and metal. It is universal .

One of the most iconic DI Marzio pick ups, granting a very nice warm sound.
High output make it perfect for heavy rock and metal, but it sounds great for blues too.
With a coil tap or series/parallel switch it become very versatile and suitable for lighter music too.

Cobain signature bridge
Bought this for my Jaguar.
This is the same pickup as in the Kurt Cobain signature model.
works so well combined with the DiMarzio DP103 CR.
Love the sound. Usual great DiMarzio quality

Versatility . This pickup can save an instrument
I have this pickup in my strat . It is that kind of a pickup that can save a guitar that dont sound correct. It is a bit dark and it plays very well with a strat which is too bright . Very tight , and very versatile. It can play lot of styles . From blues , cleans and metal. Totally satisfied

Classic Dimarzio.
This pickup has been used by nearly every rock guitarist for over 30 years.
It's a beautiful well made pickup. Has very full crunchy tone with a lot of mid while the harmonics still sounds clear and sharp. A little hotter than a regular PAF.
I put one in my strat in the bridge position and it makes a ton of difference.

Monster Pickup!
Legendary sound, big sustain and powerful distortion! It's all in the name. The cream colour is great, matching perfectly the cream parts on my Gibson Les paul.
