Cool color and brilliant sound.... when are new
I used these strings on two different 5-string basses: a fretless (Ibanez) and a Fender MonoNeon Jazz Bass V.
I really liked the look, and in general I have no problem playing coated strings.
When they are new, they have a fairly bright and lively sound. On a fretted bass, for example, they also work very well for slap.
Unfortunately, after about two weeks I noticed that the D and G strings started to lose some volume and brightness, and overall the set began to lose its high-end response.
On my fretless bass I still keep them on, because the warmer sound they develop is actually what I am looking for. However, on fretted instruments I would probably not use them again.
Overall, they look great and sound very good when new, but in my experience the brightness does not last long enough, especially on the higher strings.

nice glowing strings
nicely sounding and looking strings. my only concern is that the orange pigments started to fall off from the strings where you usually play too soon... i've had the green neon ones, those did not lose a single bit of the pigments even after 3 years of hard gig... could be only a single faulty batch but still it happened

Nice way to get a custom look
pros: These strings look incredible even in daylight. One of the best ways to get a custom look for your bass. Sound is pretty good.
cons: Color wears out fast. Especially if you're playing with pick.

Great strings!
Great strings, extreme duration, perfect sound.
Preferred finger picking, on plectrum the coating is scratched soon - no change in sound though, just the looks.
Blacklight gives that fluorescent glow, which make the strings look like being red-hot.
The feeling under fingers is also very nice.
