Nice mix
Adans_ix 01.06.2020
A good mix for those trying to find a good pick for bass. Even if you never played a triangular one.
The Max Grip looks cheap. Its thickness hasn't necessarily the hardness you may be looking for. It bends really easily, but it's pointy, so it may help you if you're into that.
The Tortex .73 is maybe an all-round.
The Prime Grip .96 is actually really smooth to play with, as it edges aren't "sharp" and the tip makes it good to play fast.
About the triangular ones: Flex 1.0 is fine, but maybe the sound isn't that good for what I was looking for.
The purple 1.14 is good to play with, but the material won't last as long as the Ultex, but because it's triangular, you'll have 3 sides to use.
The one I liked the most is the Ultex 1.14. The thing is just amazing. It turns my B string (125) into a string with a much darker and deeper sound. I tried an Ultex 1.0 but this 1.14 that comes with the pack is my favorite pick for bass right now. Pun intended.

Good pack

Dunlop does all, here you have a good variety of picks, those turtle ones, and even thin ones (despise the narrative of only thick picks for bass), which some bass players say is their secret, I like em too.

Very useful if you are just starting out with picks

I wanted to learn to play with a pick, but I had absolutely no idea what shape, material or thickness I wanted. This pack has a nice selection of everything, really great for experimenting, and it helped me figure out which direction to go.

Great selection of picks for Bass.
I find the dunlop ultex ( the golden one) to be very thick and it barely bends, so I don't use it that much.
The other picks for me are perfect, my favorites are the black and the gray ones, they are very grippy.

when you play different instruments playing a gig you need an assortment of picks, softer for playing backing chords on an electro-acoustic guitar to a hard pick for picking a mandolin to playing bass. so the assortment here is right on the mark :)

Nice picks in various materials and sizes
Vorath 07.06.2021
I have used Dunlop picks with guitars basically since forever, but i mainly played bass with my fingers and only occasionally with guitar picks.
This set gave me shapes and thicknesses i had never tried before and which surprised me quite a bit.

The larger shapes take a bit of getting used to but the extra thickness and grip is very welcome in bass. Ultex remains my favourite material but i'm still on the fence regarding my favourite shape.

That's the entire reason these variety packs exist though. Give them a shot and experiment a bit.

Great Variety

This is a solid variety of bass picks. I traditionally play with fingers, but I've switched to using a pick for recording progressive Metal where a very defined attack is necessary. I found this variety pack helpful in figuring out what types of picks I prefer. Also, some picks are better suited for specific parts while recording.
