Shortest Audition Ever!
Big Seanbo 31.10.2021
Yes, there is usually a honeymoon period with new gear, but I can honestly say that the Cry Baby Junior declared itself a keeper within about 10 seconds!

There were no issues at all getting used to the smaller size (having small feet probably helped), and as to the sound, well that's just what a wah is supposed to sound like! All 3 of the modes are incredibly useable, though I've defaulted to the middle "vintage" option.
I've owned 3 wahs in my guitar life (all Cry Babys) and this is the first one I've bought without trying first. No regrets whatsoever.

Almost 5 stars
_obra_ 26.01.2022
First of all, I would like to say that this is a great Wah and I like it very much.

After having few of Dunlods classic wahs - vintage and new, and also a mini CMB95, as a white mini Bass wah, I can say that this one realy fit the pedalboard the best, having all the inputs from the upper side.

3-Way voicing switch is located on the side, and that is much more convenient than at mini version, where 3 modes are located inside and needs to unscrew it every time You want to change it.

I would rate it 5 stars only if the power switch is not so easy to turn on-off. Unlike previous versions I'm used to, where the switch is pretty hard to press, with this one it is very easy to accidentally turn off the Wah when playing, because the switch is very sensitive.

All in all, compact size (a great compromise between classic and mini), very nice classic sound, accessible pedalboard-friendly inputs makes it IMO probably the best one Dunlop made.

P
Great pedal that fits almost any pedalboard
Popinjo 01.02.2022
Besides the tone, one of the reasons I bought this pedal is its size. It is compact and small enough to fit almost any pedal board, but not too small (so that you could not do the sweeps easily - like it is a case with mini wah pedals).
PROs:
- well built
- ideal size for pedalboard
- the switch is quiet (not loud)
- has 3 modes/options

CONs:
- in fact only one - but it is actually of a subjective matter - it seems to me there is not enough sweep in higher mid frequencies - would prefer if it effected those frequencies a bit more

But all in all, it is a great pedal, especially for rock and Slash/Hammet style of playing

Best of both worlds
DShustov 24.10.2022
I had a couple of full-sized wahs before, and mini version.
Bigger versions are really heavy and bulky (except of JB wah, which made of aluminum enclosure), but very convenient.
As for mini, I can use it, but it is definitely a lot of compromise there, especially, if I use it for longer sweeps.
As for this, it works just perfect. Big enough for comfort use, but not as bulky as full-sized. Led very handy, and I like, that mode switch is not inside like on mini version. No cons for me.

Optimal size, a bit stiff
dan82 09.11.2021
Best size ever to be fitted on small pedalboards and still feel comfortable. Rugged.
Torque feels a bit too stiff, but it's new and may just need to loosen some friction.
The rubber blocks on front are a bit too hard and need to be pushed quite hard to engage/disengage the switch. Circuit is SMD, they could have fitted miniature Q and gain controls. Good base for mods!

B
Great wah
Björn6925 30.07.2023
The Cry Baby is an industry standard and for a good reason. It simply sounds right.
The junior wah takes less space then the standard Cry Baby but the feel is the same and to my ears it sounds the same too.
I have a packed pedalboard so this is great for me.
I was a little worried about it being smaller, cause I have been mistaken for Bigfoot but it's been fine so far.
Highly recommended.
