Pros:
+The 0.96mm thickness makes it very versatile giving you a stable grip and just the right thickness for picking and playing chords.
+Textured material make notes louder and rounder.

Cons:
-The grip can be a double-edged sword as it can hamper speed playing techniques such as with sweep picking because of the textured edge that adds friction to your pick against the strings even if you properly angle the pick. As a result, the pick can sometimes get entangled during play with too much friction, which is great for the picking thumb and index finger, but can be hampering when present on the edge of the pick.

My Go-To Picks
Anonymous 02.12.2015
The 0,96mm Dunlop Gator Grips are my go-to picks nowadays. I started having issues using ordinary plastic picks because my hands would start to sweat quickly, causing the picks to start slipping around my fingers way too often. I thought I'd give the Gator Grips a try and found they work really well with my electric guitar playing.

Out of the package, the picks seem to be lightly coated in a powdery substance which starts to fade away as you begin using it. To me this doesn't change the grip of the pick, as it remains easy to hold on to throughout its use. These 0,96mm picks don't wear out as quickly as the other 0,71mm ones I tried, and are just the right thickness for my playing style.

Dunlop Gator Grip 0,96

Dunlop Gator Grip is one of my favourite picks. It has a grip that holds even on the swettiest of hands. I mainly use these when i play the acoustic guitar. They have a nice attack to the sound but are thin enough for playing chords. They seem to last pretty long, but it all depends on your playing style. If your touch is heavy then they wear out pretty quickly. My style is quite light so these last a long time. The price is good considering the quality of these picks. A small con is that the grip seems to wear out before the pick itself. When the grip wears out the pick gets very slippery and unusable for me.

I like these

Bought as an alternative to the nylon Max Grips I usually use, these are comfortable and produce a good sound for this acoustic strummer. Nice.

This Dunlop Gator Grip was my favorite pick since I bought my 1st guitar 16y ago. Needless to say, after trying all sorts of picks, this one remains my favorite.

Yes, the powder is half gone after a few hours of intensive playing. But still, I even have a 10y old pick from these which I would rather use instead of other brands. Picks are personal, try it out and see what you like but I would definitely give this one a go. Cheers!

The name is not Programme.

I think Dunlop is a good company but this Plectrums have the name not deserves.
When i read "Gator Grip" than i think they don't slip but they do it.
The surface is a little bit napped and powdered but that is not enough to not slippery. They are good Plectra but not more.
I hope it`s Helpful and let it Rock

Perfect Grip For A Pick
Gab Wolfspfad 24.11.2019
I've used these picks for years, so I got these ones to play it safe.
The grip on them is just perfect and without any weird texture on them.
They still keep that grip even without that "dust" they come with.

Although I found the quality and the grip perfect, I think it's not that good for the guitar.

Dunlop always reliable!

Try to move my choices from tortex to gator, not bad!
The grip is good and the shape although smaller than the tortex one doesn't influences my playing.

Very good!

I mainly play bass and these are my favorite plectrums. I think they have a good thickness and size. The grip is good, but can get a little slippery when the sweat kicks in (as with most plectrums). I have no complaints really, I like these a lot.
