Where do I even begin?
Firstly, it's built like a tank, I could probably shoot this thing and It would still work fine.
The sound is great, the knobs really do what they say. as in, you can get the full-fuzz sound at half the volume, or you can get barely broken-up sounds at full volume. The sounds are, of course, very Hendrixey.
Note: it does get quite noisy, especially with passive pickups. I now have an active pickup guitar and have managed to fix the noise.
The battery cavity is also very handy and well-built. Between that and the construction, it's a great pedal to take out on the road.
finally, the knobs and switches are well built, the LED is very bright and the knobs glow in the dark. I'm not sure if that's intentional, but they do. I love this pedal

Classic fuzz - but either on or off!
So basically the pedals works best if you turn both controls to full and leave them there, controlling the sound with a volume pedal or your guitar's volume.
If you do this straight into a tube amp, it's classic, bright and goes from a chime to a full on vintage fuzz. Classic sound. 10/10.
But that's all it does. If you roll off the fuzz, it becomes too warm and muddy, and if you roll off the volume it misses some character. But why would you want to?! You know the sound it makes and no other pedal does it better. But don't expect a huge variation (unless controlled by your own input volume).
It's also quite cute, smaller than I expected but stable and I bought it over the full-size fuzz as it has a DC input (the big one does not - I probably would've gone for that if it had, but that said, the mini takes much less real estate on pedal boards...!).
I've tried literally hundreds of OD/D/Fuzz pedals and this is one of the best if you like the sound.

Amazing sound, noise included
To me the pedal sounds best at 3 o'clock for both controls. It's the sound you could expect from a Fuzz Face named after Jimi Hendrix, what else can I say ?

True to the Hendrix sound
I use this pedal on the Marshall Origin 20C.
The Fuzz really get you close to a Hendrix-like sound, specially with a strat/wah.
It is a very strait forward pedal to use. Maybe one con of the pedal is that the fuzz get quickly out of control if you push it too much on the pedal or if you play a harder.

Superb
get a single-coil pickup guitar, plug the fuzz face, volume and fuzz on 10, roll theguitar's volume knob down to 5-6, PROFIT.

Very nice pedal in a decent size, pedalboard friendly.
It also comes a very decent price so it's a good value for money.

too much bass
great idea to down size this classic fuzz.
works ok with strat on bridge pickups but has way too much bass/mud to cut trough a mix. I've used zillions of fuzz pedals so I know it's hard to find the right match between guitar-Fuzz-amp. Give it a try. It might work wonderfully for you.

Part of that Hendrix Sound
I love the Fuzz Face Mini, I have the original but the original is battery powered and I prefer the mini as I can power this using a 9 volt iso supply. It is identical to the original but made smaller for today's pedalboards,

Hendrix sounds in a small and compact pedal.
This thing roars,with only two knobs it's pretty straightforward and it won't take long before you dial in those Hendrix sounds. Like most of fuzz pedals it's best if you dial the sweet spot you're looking for on the pedal and control the volume and tone on the guitar. It being small should guarantee that it will fit on all pedalboards without much hassle now grab a wah pedal and fuzz away.
