Better shaped than previous Ultex picks
I've been using Ultex picks in various gauges exclusively for several years, now. My bass and my six-strings all have Ultex picks. No need to comment on tone, durability and grip, they've been reviewed many, many times and the great opinions are justified. Only little downside was that the tip was often not perfectly shaped and symmetrical, you need a magnifier to see that but you feel a slight improvement in touch after you rectify them.
So I used to take 600 grit sandpaper to reshape the tip and 1000 grit to polish it, and I expected the same job would be needed again. But no, the first pick I took out of the bag had a perfect tip. Symmetrical, not too round, not too sharp. I thought, is it just luck? But no, five other picks were removed from the bag and the consistency was perfect.
Seems that Dunlop has improved the manufacturing process and that's great, it's safe to assume all the other picks will have a tip identical to those that were checked with the magnifier.

In total control.
This plectrum helps you play extremely accurate in regards to tempo. I was actually surprised the first time a friend itroduced this to me.
Due to the high durability of this plectrum it also stays in shape and by that you get precision in playing, especially when playing quite fast or over/undertones (which are very sensitive in regards to how you strike the strings.
You will get surprised when trying this plectrum out, this is not one of many average plectrums, this is the real deal!

Feels good, lasts less than I thought
The feel of the pick going against the strings is great, and the grip is decent considering there's no actual grip. Only downside is that they wear out a bit faster than I thought.

Ultex > Tortex
Ultex have a superior tone to tortex in my opinion. They feel far better in the hand and have increased clarity. Cracking buy
