DW 14"x06" Exotic Burl -Natural
Ubelievable sounding and good looking snare drum. Could be seen at a drum gig or in a museum. :) I highly recommend it. DW always make such a good work concerning the fabrication quality. Nothing more needs to be said. :)

The drum looks just amazing!
A way better than photos.
It's easy to tune. Keeps tuning very well even hard playing. Nothing needs to be changed. All components are top. Furniture, heads, strings.
While it's new, you need time to make it sound what you paid for. Few months of playing will open some overtones, cause it's a new wood from factory.
After some time of playing, tuning, it starts to sound really really good with professional, expensive, class A sound.
It's heavy, like any other it it's class.
Needs a good stand.
Compared to Ludwig Supraphonic, that one has a classic rock sound, this one is modern and versatile.
5 positions butt plate is really a good invention that helps a lot during the show.
Rimshot is simply amazing.
Depth of 6" adds more body than 5,5", but less than 6,5" that makes it a work horse for almost all styles.
Conclusion: Very well looking, great sounding A class , well balanced between chick and body industry standard snare.
