Absolute 10/10 masterclass
I was not prepared for how addictive the DT II actually is. Once you start tweaking knobs, hours simply melt away.
The speed and fluidity of the workflow are unbelievable. You can layer lush pads, deep basslines, crisp drum patterns, and evolving ambient textures seamlessly without ever feeling constrained. The sound engine is crystal clear, punchy, and the internal FX sound phenomenal.
Elektron took a legendary machine and turned it into an absolute masterpiece. It is, without a doubt, the beating heart and brain of my entire setup. If you're looking for infinite inspiration and raw performance power, look no further. Pure 10/10 perfection!

Digitakt with "Stereoids" x16 tracks
Great great great iteration on the Digitakt. With the best usability, you can record very lush stereo pads and have 16 tracks to make any full track perform. Everything that you need from Digitakt with better and more features. And with chorus FX!

Good upgrade for DT fans
I enjoyed this unit for a few weeks, but having come from the OT and not the DT background, I found a bit limiting for my use case.
Amazing unit, as everything from Elektron usually is.
Beautiful fx, I really hope they roll out the Chorus for the ST.
Sadly, some things are not so good. Lack of Overbridge. Very slow transfer, even with 1.02 os. No data transfer media slot.
I sent mine back because it seems very "unfinished" in its current form. Will consider purchasing it again in a year or 2.

perfect combo for iPad + AUM synths
this is my first elektron device.... I really regret that I havent used any of them before... super powerful, live-playable, very well designed device.
Besides its own sampler, any of its 16 tracks can be a "MIDI machine". So, in this mode it does not produce any sound, but sends MIDI. And you can use any software synths on iPad (like Model D, Model 15 etc) with sequencer from Digitakt. But also, you will be able to easily map 16 parameters for each synth, and change them by Digitakt's knobs, and give names for these parameters, so name is shown on digitakt display....
I think it is the best instrument/device/tool/toy that I bought in last 15 years :D

Time to grooveee
Purchased this as my first piece of Elektron gear to use as a sampler in my Dawless set-up.
Received it in excellent condition. No damage to the box whatsoever and item was in perfect condition.
The build feels sturdy and well-made. Have started loading some samples and making some beats. Definitely a slight learning curve at the start but seems like the possibilities are limitless. Really love it! 10/10

Fantastic drum machine and sampler
This is my first Elektron box and, after 2 months of exploring it, I must say I'm really impressed with it. Its a very capable sampler and an amazing drum machine and I love making music on it.
There is only one feature that I hope to see implemented in a future update: manual sample slicing. Highly recommended, but be aware of a few of its limitations.
EDIT: slice machine has been added in firmware v1.15 and it's awesome! :)

Fun and Inspiring for Exploring Electronic Music
I’m an old-school musician and designer just starting to dive into electronic music, and the Elektron Digitakt II has been an awesome choice. It’s super intuitive to use—packed with features, but not overwhelming—and it really sparks creativity. The sound quality is solid and professional, and everything I’ve made with it so far has sounded fantastic.
The build quality feels great too, like this machine will last for years. For someone like me, stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something new, this has been a perfect companion. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore electronic music!
