Truly Astonishing Product
I recieved the Epiphone Dove Pro this week. The packaging was very well thought put and I am impressed by the recyclable cushioning material. The product box itself seemed to be faultless, and the guitar itself also, aling with all of the additional accessory bags etc. I would be very hard pressed to find any fault with this product or service from Thomann. I intended on playing one in person before purchase, but was unable to do so. When it arrived and I first laid my eyes on it, I couldn't have imagined it to be any better. Both what I expected and so much more in terms of construction quality and playability. If you are even slightly considering purchasing this guitar, then just do it. You will not regret it. Thomann's customer service is definitely amongst the best I have ever exerienced. The parcel tracking was helpful and accurate. Great respect to Thomann and their top notch service and proper care in protecting it during transit to my address. I eagerly await to see how it moulds to my playing style in the near future!

Looks great, feels great, and sounds great.
I've been contemplating to get an acoustic-electric from Epiphone for quite a while now and I just couldn't decide whether to buy a Hummingbird Pro or a Dove Pro since I have yet to physically test them out and I've only watched video reviews on Youtube. I wanted an affordable guitar that would sound great both plugged and unplugged so I decided to just buy them both and sell the one that I don't want. I settled for the Dove Pro namely because of two reasons: electronics and overall sound. This thing sounds great when it is plugged in! You can hear the steel-ness of the strings thanks to the Fishman pickup and when unplugged, it has that full, thick dreadnought tone compared to a thinner sound from the Hummingbird Pro. For the money, this guitar is worth every penny.

The Dove
At its price point, it is a steal. Wonderful bright tone, strong voice, the Dove is a hummingbird on steroids... as an acoustic guitar for blues and rock (especially for rock) it is perfect.

A Great Acoustic for Beginners and Intermediate Players.
The Epiphone acoustics that are in the medium price range ie: Hummingbird, Dove, J200,s, are always solid instruments and it's very rare to find one that's sub par.
The Dove Pro is no exception to that rule, as it plays perfectly straight out of the box, the action was low, no truss rod adjustments needed and the playability was great all over the neck.
I always recommend people who are looking for a good guitar to start or upgrade to, to purchase an Epiphone acoustic.
As they look and play like they are far beyond their price point.
If you are considering buying an Epiphone Dreadnought, than you can't go wrong with the Dove Pro or Hummingbird Pro.

EPIPHONE Dove Pro
I have now had my EPIPHONE Dove Pro for 10 months and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. It ticks all of the boxes in terms of playability, tone, quality looks and sound output whether played acoustically or plugged in and using the easy to adjust tone & volume controls & built in freshman pickup are great. I took up playing as a mature guitarist just over 2 years ago and was looking for a guitar that would allow me to improve but still remain affordable. I did a lot of research before making my decision to buy and have no regrets! Thomann service & delivery was very good.

Fabulous all round!
Excellent guitar All round and flawless for the price range.
I own some high end guitars including Fender,Gibson and Guild, but this sounds the best by far,and build quality is superb.
I perform professionally as a solo acoustic player and it really does sound fantastic with the fishman pick up system.
Crafmanship on my Dove was perfect with a lovely finish all round.
Can't recommend enough.
Thomann perfect as always.

Great looks and great sound at a great price!
Looks like the Gibson original and sounds nearly as good... atleast at a tenth of a price. Pickguard needs a gloss varnish coat to keep the paint. Original strings is a joke - as always. Changed them for Elixir Nanoweb Costum Light - spot on.

Great
My initial thought disappointment as when guitar arrived it looked good sounded good but when plugged in as was my main reason for wanting this particular guitar as per previous reviews mine didn't didn't work? fishman pickup faulty however in farness to Thomann team they where first class at dealing with the issue helping me with return and sending replacement! Anyway back to guitar (second guitar) electrics worked and all I can say is value for money its well made great sounding guitar perfect for gigging etc or indeed just if your looking for a solid well made guitar with value for money then this is it!
