So good, I’ve bought 3
Epiphone China has upped their game. I would now place these semi hollows almost as highly as the early ‘90s Samick Sheratons. Yes, I’m a NG fanboy, but these are worth every penny. For me, a 335 type guitar must sound good unplugged. These do. The finish is beautiful.
Yes, they are not perfect. Each has arrived needing a little lowering of the action, but nothing that is beyond someone with a little understanding, a screwdriver and an Allen key. The pickups are ok, I’ve since swapped out the bridge pickups as they are too thin for my tastes, but the stock set are certainly useable.
For well under a grand with upgrades, these are exceptional.
I may get a fourth.

Lovely looking 335 (Riviera??)
This is a lovely guitar. I’ve had it just about a year now and use it for gigs and rehearsal for a blues and blues rock band. Some great tones, easy to play neck and nicely set up. I had to lower the action a little to taste. Currently having a small issue with the guitar jack being loose, but that’s an easy fix. Very happy. Although I’d also love one in black!!!
