E
Great controller
EmilStudio 20.01.2024
I use it in Cubase mainly as midi remote controller for shortcuts and DAW controls. It's very compact, well build and the response is great. The only drawback for this use is that pads doesn't light up for on/off functions, and you have to remember the assignments. The knobs are tight but turn smooth. It is great that it's powered from the usb and it works very stable.

As a drum pad is just great.

The editing software is very good, flexible and easy to use. The only complain is that you can't select all pads to edit them all at ones so you have to go one by one.

Sturdy & Compact

Perfect drum pads and very useful assignable knobs made with excellent quality. Pads may be smaller than MPC or Maschine but perfect for my needs and very portable! Sits ergonomically well next to a QWERTY keyboard.

Great sensitivity and easy setup
aesqe 17.04.2026
This controller is much smaller than I thought it would be, but the pads are not too small to be used with my fat fingers :) If you are looking for something with pads much more sensitive than those on the SP404, this is the one for you. It has 3.5mm MIDI in/out ports, It pairs nicely with Digitakt and it's perfect for finger drumming. The config software is super simple and intuitive (use it to increase pads sensitivity to their maximum). Highly recommended.

Well built but...

The pads where not sensitive at all, maybe my controller was a bad one because a £20 Chinese midi controller was more sensitive.

What was also disappointing was the inability to remap the buttons.
