Sehr gute Felle
Als Anfänger habe ich wahrscheinlich nicht viel Ahnung von Schlagfellen und den zig verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, die der Markt zu bieten hat.
Ich kaufte mir vor paar Monaten ein Schlagzeug aus zweiter Hand für wenig Geld. Die alten Remos auf den Toms sahen schon ziemlich mitgenommen aus und ich entschied mich schnell, diese zu erneuern. Nach ein wenig Recherche im Netz fand ich diese Evens G2s für meine 12" - 13" - 16" Toms. Nicht nur rein optisch machen diese in weiß richtig was her. Das Stimmen war recht einfach und der Unterschied im Klang zu den alten Fellen war gewaltig. Ich bevorzuge eine möglichst tiefe Tonlage an den vergleichsweise großen Toms und das war ohne Probleme möglich. Auch ohne zusätzliche Dämpfung lassen sich diese Felle ohne störende Obertöne mit angenehmem Nachklingen einstellen; lediglich beim 12" habe ich ein Moongel-Patch gebraucht um ungewünschten Obertöne zu eliminieren, welches aber durchaus dem Tom selbst anzulasten sein kann und außerdem Geschmackssache sein dürfte. Ich verstehe nun den Ratschlag erfahrener Trommler, die einem anraten in neue Felle zu investieren, besonders bei "Schießbuden" aus 2.Hand. In meinem Fall hat es sich definitiv gelohnt und war mit den G2s die richtige Entscheidung.
Von Seite des Thomann-Versands lief von der Bestellung bis zur Auslieferung alles wie am Schnürchen. Ich bin rundum zufrieden.

Durable, nice tones
I swapped out my clear, thin stock skins that came with a Tama Superstar Classic for these thicker Evans skins.
Tonal beauty is in the ear of the beholder, and skins alone don't make a beautiful drum sound (though they are super important). I fitted this skin yesterday, keeping the factory Tama reso skin, and am delighted with the tones it produces.
Coated skins like this have a nice gritty quality (physically) which I think helps if you are a fast & hard hitter

My personal choice number one. Good tone on every tuning i have used and fits perfectly for the rock and heavy music i am playing. Haven´t broken a single one of these heads, thought i hit the drums pretty hard. I will continue using these heads as i am satisfied with the sound and quality and price they provide. I can recommend these to every other drummer no matter what your genre is.

Exactly what I wanted for the 12" tom on my drum kit, and thomann had the best price that I could find for evans drum heads. Love the tone of these on my drums!

it was the first time using coated heads for toms, and it was the last

Very good
Very good quality, and a lot of possibilities to achieve the desired sound.
I personally use them on a daily basis and so far they have proven to be excellent.
