Just like the originals
As the title says - Just like the originals! I was wanting a new set of tuners for my Tele, the tuners on it were worn out after 40 of gigging, and I didn't want to put a set on that would require drilling or making new screwholes......what to do? On here to Thomann, found these beauties, not overly expensive, and an EXACT fit for the originals. Very good quality too, and I can keep the old worn-out ones in case I ever sell my Tele (not very likely) and the new owner just has to have all the original parts.

Good tuners
I have come to prefer vintage style split shaft tuners because I like that the sharp end of the string is not left to scratch and stab everything that comes near the headstock. I love the CBS style headstocks and these tuners go great with it. I love the big chrome covers with the F stamps and the octagon buttons. These are made in Taiwan but I have never had a single fault with them through several sets.

An ok reissue, but tuning gear accuracy could be better
This tuner set is a well built replica of 70s tuners, and fits in the original mounting holes with screw holes aligning. However, as tuners they do not feel very accurate (due to gear ratio, I think) in spite of otherwise quite stable mechanical build. I would not recommend these tuners if you have options with better gear ratio - unless of course it is absolutely vital to you to have the mounting specs or aesthetics of Fender 70s tuners.

Quality vintage style tuners.
These are a nice, solid set of tuners to give your guitar a vintage vibe. They've a split post style of string attachment which I've always quite liked. They've held tuning well and I've had no problems with them. Recommended if you're looking for that CBS era styling!

Um
Great tuning keys but cheap screws
Very good tuning keys. Just what you'd expect. The only problem I had was the screws. The screws fender sends out are very cheap. I used the proper screw driver and they frayed. Had to use a pair of pliers to get it out. They also didn't fit my tele deluxe neck that I bought new with predrilled holes. Best is to get yourself down to a hardware store and get something slightly bigger to get a sturdy tight fit.

They're fine tuners, but...
... make sure they fit the target guitar first. In my instance, I presumed they would immediately fit into a late 60s Jaguar, but the headstock is too thick so they don't mount properly.
